Kathleen
OWNER
Kathleen Hines Franza, owner of KMH Design Inc., has been designing residential interiors for more than 19 years. Her career began while living in Miami, working as a photographer’s assistant. Through the industries contacts, she was sought out to work as a set design assistant for a film being shot in Miami. Her career immediately took off. Kathleen began working on films, commercials, and photo shoots; directing wardrobe, set design, location scouting and propping. After having a child, she decided to move to Jacksonville, Florida to be closer to her family. She began working for her family's company, Hines III, Inc., a manufacturer of commercial furniture. After fourteen years at Hines III, Inc., an architect approached Kathleen to see if she would be interested in collaborating on a large residential project. She accepted, soon realizing her passion for residential interior design. It was in 1996 when KMH Design was officially created. The rest is history.
Nancy
RETAIL SHOP MANAGER
Nancy considers Florida her home since she has resided here most of her life with her husband and three sons. Her first career opportunities were in the retail industry and right away she knew it was “love” at first sight. Having discovered a new passion and wanting to further her knowledge she attended Florida State University and graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design. Ever since then Nancy has had an exciting and fulfilling career in Retail Management and Sales Consultation which included opening her own clothing boutique in the Midwest. Nancy’s focus has always been to enhance her customers lives through the discovery of unique and meaningful products while ensuring a memorable and lasting experience. We are excited that Nancy has joined the KMH team in 2023 so if you haven’t met her yet we hope you will come in and say Hello!
SALLIE
SALES ASSOCIATE & REGISTRY SPECIALIST
Sallie is a newcomer to Jacksonville and established a real affection for the city after visiting family in the area for many years. In June, she and her husband made the decision to relocate to Jacksonville to be near family and their love for this vibrant city continues to grow every day.
She earned her degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from The University of Mississippi in 2017. Since then, her career has encompassed diverse roles in marketing, event planning, retail sales, and business development. Her true passion lies in forging meaningful connections with people and creating unforgettable experiences for them. In her new role at KMH Home, Sallie is eager to showcase her extensive knowledge and expertise. She is enthusiastic about helping KMH Home customers curate lasting memories through the art of gifting and “the ease of living”.
