Kathleen
OWNER
Kathleen Hines Franza, owner of KMH Design Inc., has been designing residential interiors for more than 19 years. Her career began while living in Miami, working as a photographer’s assistant. Through the industries contacts, she was sought out to work as a set design assistant for a film being shot in Miami. Her career immediately took off. Kathleen began working on films, commercials, and photo shoots; directing wardrobe, set design, location scouting and propping. After having a child, she decided to move to Jacksonville, Florida to be closer to her family. She began working for her family's company, Hines III, Inc., a manufacturer of commercial furniture. After fourteen years at Hines III, Inc., an architect approached Kathleen to see if she would be interested in collaborating on a large residential project. She accepted, soon realizing her passion for residential interior design. It was in 1996 when KMH Design was officially created. The rest is history.
Sara
CURATED GIFTING SPECIALIST
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Sara began her career in the fast-paced New York City fashion industry, working in Visual Display and PR. After a decade in the city that never sleeps, she moved back to Atlanta and continued to build her creative career as a Retail Buyer and Jewelry Designer. In 2020, Sara and her family relocated to Neptune Beach, Florida. As our Gifting Specialist, Sara curates thoughtful and elegant gift selections tailored for every occasion. She also showcases her jewelry line, Sara Thames Jewelry, in the store which features delicate, handmade pieces adorned with birthstones and charms. Whether you're looking for the perfect gift or a one-of-a-kind keepsake, Sara is always happy to help.
Stephanie
ASSISTANT RETAIL SHOP MANAGER
Born and raised in eastern North Carolina, Stephanie now calls Florida home after moving there in 2011. She comes to KMH with a degree in Interior Design and has enjoyed many residential design experiences prior to joining our team. Her meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and genuine love for people make her an invaluable addition to KMH. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her husband and their young son, as well as family and friends. We are thrilled to have her on our team and the positive impact she has on our customers and our community, all while helping create a luxurious and effortless shopping experience.
Laila
BRAND AMBASSADOR
With a life story as vibrant as her style, Laila brings a worldly perspective to KMH Home. Half Russian and half Egyptian, she grew up traveling between Russia, Egypt, and London before calling New York City home for 23 years, followed by four years in Los Angeles. A true lover of the outdoors, she finds joy in hiking, nature, and is an animal lover. Laila believes in living a natural lifestyle and finds beauty in art that uplifts the human spirit. Guided by her belief in miracles, she brings warmth, curiosity, and a global eye for style to every interaction at KMH Home.
